The All Progressive Congress, APC, gubernatorial candidate in Oyo State, Chief Bayo Adelabu while speaking at the first edition of Fresh FM Gubernatorial Debate, has made it known that, the pensioners in Oyo State will receive the highest possible welfare in his administration.
He further explained the need for a good welfare program and packages for the retired civil servants of the state, as they have contributed their own quota to the development of the state. He added that, few month to retirement of any civil servant, they should be made to enroll for a core skill they can be making use of to sustain after retirement, as that will help them a lot in being active and healthy.
'The good treatment that will be given to the pensioners will surely motivate the active civil servants to give their best to the civil service of the state' Adelabu noted. He added that, pensioners in the state should have additional welfare package such as, subsidize housing scheme, health care service, transportation and some other motivational indices that needed to put in place.
