BREAKING: AIT Founder, Raymond Dokpesi Is Dead

Chief Raymond Dokpesi, a chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and founder, DAAR Communications plc, has reportedly died at the age of 71. According to report, he was during one of his routine gym exercises electrocuted while using one of the gym equipment, leading to stroke and his eventual death. Dokpesi during his lifetime founded the African Independent Television (AIT) and Raypower FM and was the deputy Director-General of technical and systems of Atiku Abubakar’s Presidential Campaign Council.

Osun State Chief Judge, Justice Oyebola Ojo has sentenced Dr Rahman Adedoyin, owner of Hilton Hotel Ile-Ife to death by hanging. Earlier, the Chief Judge, Justice Oyebola Ojo declared that Dr Rahman Adedoyin, owner of Hilton Hotel Ile-Ife, where Timothy Adegoke OAU postgraduate student was allegedly killed was culpable of murder. The Chief Judge in her ongoing judgement said the owner of the hotel and two of his workers, based on the circumstances of the case established by the prosecuting counsel, Femi Falana, SAN, are found culpable of conspiracy to commit murder, unlawful killing of the deceased.
