FOSSU PARTNERS EFCC ON HOW TO TACKLE CORRUPTION





The National Council of Federation of Oyo State Students' Union (FOSSU), Senate Arm in partnership with Economic and Financial Crime Commissions, Oyo zonal office has today sensitize Oyo State students and youths on how to tackle corruption.


In his address to the teeming population of students drawn from various secondary schools across Ibadan, the Senate President of the union, in person of Com. Oke Wasiu (Pattern), commend the efforts of the commission, EFCC, in their roles of beaming searchlight on corrupt individuals, practices and activities, to rid the country of problems that have been caused as a result of corrupt practices.
He further note that, 'whether I'm government, Civil society, or any other position, we are all essential players in the resolve to fight corruption, before it robs us all'.

Mr. Ayo Oyewole, Head of Public Affairs, EFCC Ibadan Zone, who represents the Zonal Director of the commission, discuss what need to know about the commission and their functions to save the face of the nation from the corrupt dent glue with the country.
He further educate the audience on the many ways corrupt practices can take and the ways to get out of it, as to help safe the future and prosperity of the nation. According to him, Mr. Oyewole, greediness is the hallmark of reason why people involve in corruption.

Com. Moyosore Olamilekan, the Founder of Female Orientation Team (FOT) also advise the secondary school students to be of good conduct in their academic pursuit, as sky is not the limit but the beginning, and not to kill their future with frivolities of life.

The sensititization program was said to cut across all the geo political zone of the State, and to further have an inform society that will be free of corrupt practices.
